Unmask Total Costs for Technology Systems By Using the TCITS Calculator
TUCSON, AZ/Aug. 2003 – To help Head Start leaders assess total operating costs of their program’s technology needs, Assessment Technology, Inc. introduces the TCITS Calculator (Total Cost of Implementing Technology Solutions). The TCITS Calculator available online at www.ati-online.com is designed to help analyze budget allocations regarding assessment, curriculum, and child/family services management/PIR. The effective, easy-to-use calculator provides the ability to compare and contrast the total costs for different technology systems at a glance. This includes costs for support materials if required to operate the technology approach e.g. tests, booklets etc. If a program is using a manual approach, costs for the paper processing and reporting can be entered. By totaling each technology area, a determination can be made whether efficiencies are gained by using technology to achieve multiple goals.
