Flaunt Your Talents
When thinking of incorporating technology into the classroom, many programs can make your staff's job easier. Assessment and Web site companies allow your teachers to record and display the progression of each student's growth. Here are some of the products and services available:
Assessment Technology, Inc., in Tucson, Ariz., provides assessment and planning tools. Galileo software makes communication from the classroom easy to do. Parents can connect through the online "Parent Center" where they can access information on their child's progress within the Individual Development Profiles, Learning Plans, and Home Activities. Galileo includes an e-mail center for parents to communicate with teachers.
