Educational Interventions Forum
A National Dialog on Interventions to Elevate Student Achievement
Post-Forum Update
The Educational Interventions Forum was designed to begin, at the grass roots level, a national dialog on interventions that can change current levels of student achievement.
Now, post-Forum, you have the opportunity to participate with educators, administrators, researchers and other members of the educational community to create and maintain focused attention on the work started at the Forum that aimed to increase the effectiveness of intervention initiatives.
The Forum provided a unique and continuing opportunity to address basic questions facing educators today:
- How do we meet the challenge of elevating student achievement to new levels?
- How do we use assessment as a tool that truly makes a difference in instruction?
- How do we evaluate the success of lessons and assignments?
- How do we determine when students are at risk for not meeting standards measured on statewide assessments?
- What do we do when students haven’t learned the skills they need to master?
The insights gained from the six Forum sites, on questions like those listed above, are being published in Forum Proceedings and videos from Forum sites. When published, you may view either the Forum Proceedings or video by selecting the agenda link from the list on the left. Video is now available from Forum sites in all of the states. Other video and forum proceedings will be added soon, so please check back for updates.
The Proceedings and opportunity to view the happenings of a Forum site through video will promote a national dialog that fosters collaboration toward the goal of elevating student achievement to new levels. You can also help shape the conversation as it continues on into the future by visiting the ATI Town Hall Blog.
